The department of Pediatrics of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the First Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was first established in 1960，To carry out clinical medical work and establish the teaching and research department of pediatrics of traditional Chinese medicine，The courses are taught by famous doctors such as Kang Chengzhi，Kang Chengzhi, Li Jiafeng, Liu Yimin, Yang Zhenbang, Li Defang and other TCM pediatric experts in our province have presided over the work of the pediatric teaching and research department。In 1986, TCM pediatrics became the earliest master's degree authorization point of our hospital, and began to enroll master's students in 1987. Most of the more than 30 master's students have become the backbone and new force of TCM pediatrics in Yunnan Province, and some have practiced medicine overseas or outside the province, spreading the fine tradition of pediatrics in our hospital。In 1994, it was designated as the first national pediatric clinical pharmacological research base by the Ministry of Health。In 1999, it was recognized as the national drug clinical research base by the State Drug Administration;In 2005, "Pediatrics of Traditional Chinese Medicine" was identified as the first batch of key courses in Yunnan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine，Open online course resources;In 2006, it was granted the right to grant a master's degree in clinical medicine (pediatrics) of integrated Chinese and Western medicine， In 2010, TCM Pediatrics became a provincial quality course，In 2011, it became a provincial key specialty of TCM。
